O. K. folks get ready - here are the pics. I managed to get. I told you the cabinet was in really bad shape, but I think I can salvage the frame and possibly the machine. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I hope these come through, this is the second time I have posted pics. the first time was about five minutes ago about my quilt and wall hanging.

Wow, you're not wrong when you say it's in bad shape.
Looks like it was just letft out in the weather. Good luck with the restoration, and keep posting pics as you go. Hopefully he/she will be a beautiful machine one day in the not too distant future. |
What a shame to let it go like that. I hope you can bring it back and get some use out of it.

You're gonna need more than crossing fingers! You have a very BIG restoration job ahead of you but then again think of the rewards/satifaction after it's done! Is that metal around the base?

Boy, oh boy, you really have your work cut out for you. Good luck and please keep us up to date.

I took a frame and made a table for my sewing room when I found one about the same, I could not salvage the machine, good luck hope you can and look forward in seeing pictures.

Good Luck :)

Looks like some elbow grease and some naval jelly and some sweat and tears. I think the metal base will be great as a new cutting table or ironing table.
