I've finished the top but now I'm dreading putting it together. This is my first picture post since the board changed. We'll see if it comes through. haha

I started with the 4 deer panels and just made it up as I went along. I'll be glad when it's done and I don't have to deal with it anymore.

The quilt is pinned to my living room curtain so it's not hanging straight. haha

I love the way your quilt turned out. I have this same panel and mine is now classified as a UFO. I plan to finish it as part of the Challenge. Soon it will be a WIP again. hehehe! You did a good job.

Hooray you did it! Great quilt top! Did you applique the deer head on the left top corner? It's awesome!

Yes, I found a picture of a deer head online and enlarged it. I found a brown bandana at Hancock Fabrics that was kind of "splotchy" looking. I added a few details with a permanent brown marker. haha Never done anything like this before. Looked okay so I'm going to go with it. I guess I will just outline the deer and SID for the rest. I bought some brown flannel for the back. I'm hoping I can get it all laid out and pinned tomorrow.
