It is pretty and deserves a better name than "My Brown One" Poor thing.LOL! it looks like it went together very well in spite of your struggles. Must give you a good feeling of achievement now that it is finished.
You did a grand job with your quilt. The colors are striking. Better watch out or those two doggies will be having themselves a nap on it.

Sew very pretty!!!
Very nice, I would rename it "Bursts of Blue" not just the brown one.

I would also like to know what was the wrong choice of batting that made it difficult to get finished.

Super cool - I was looking at a similar pattern and wondered about mixing fabrics - yours look awesome!
Thanks to all for the nice comments and the great idea's for another name!!
The reason I thought the solid brown wasn't good was about the quality not the colour.'The fabric was kind of stiff. So the batting was, normally I use hobbs 80/20 The combination of the stiff fabric and the bad batting made it very difficult to do the quilting. The vases with flowers were indeed fussy cuts. Hihihihi ...and the doggies are strictly forbidden to use my quilts:cool: |
Oooooo....diamonds! I am currently working on a quilt with diamonds and they are definitely a challenge. I am deeply impressed by your precision, and I like "My Brown One" alot!
