I cover composition books with quilted covers. I have three of my own, one with my calendar and lists of groceries and things to do, another for quilting, and another for computer information like my passwords.
I have given so many as gifts. They are wonderful gifts. I can use a favorite color and there are so many fabrics with so many subjects of interest to my friends and family. Why BUB. A friend after receiving hers, made some and gave them to her friends. One friend refers to it as her BUB, back up brain. I thought that was a perfect description of how I use mine. They are gorgeous when left laying around. They are a great place to practice FMQ. Yes there is already a tutorial set up. I got smart and did it first. Have fun, make many. These are my original instructions. The idea-people have been covering books forever and this is the way I do it. |
