After seeing the one posted on line here I decided to make one...I enlarged the pattern 20% and added a small flap as I did not have a magnetic snap to use...I like it a lot so now will go ahead and make one to use

I love that!! The fabric is so cheerful and I really like that button, I think it adds a lot to the look.

clem55 05-03-2010 10:12 AM

And if you don't want to use, I do!!lol

Sue Fish 05-03-2010 10:16 AM

LOL well I will use it but want to get fabric I REALLY like for it..this is just a small piece I had leftover...
I always seem to try a pattern using something I have then if I like the bag I go ahead and make one from fabrics I like better and I wanted to say the button in the pic doesn't look like it matches but it really does in life...cameras and color can be tricky

You did a wonderful job. The fabric is so pretty.

Oklahoma Suzie 05-05-2010 11:12 AM

love it

After making the purse..I decided I'd like it a little bit stiffer so would use something like decorbond and the fleece or thin batting..I don't like a purse that is too floppy...I am going to try to open the lining and add some interfacing and see how I like that...nice to make a sample one first using scrap fabric to work out the kinks...it is a cute and fun pattern....might also increase to 125%...I did 120%

reneebobby 05-07-2010 03:45 AM

very nice job I made 2 of these and just love them

Sue Fish 05-07-2010 03:57 AM

Did you enlarge it? If I left it at the original size it wouldn't be floppy I am sure...what did you use?

knlsmith 05-07-2010 05:38 AM

Love it!

dkabasketlady 05-12-2010 03:48 PM
