These seem to be popular this year, it was fun to make! This was before I had the binding on and ignore those chalk marks along the bottom, I had trouble determining where the quilting should actually go. I will definitely be making more of these next year. Oh, I dont have the bow on yet either. I just noticed some of the quilting doesnt show up, thats weird. I had to include a pic of my son opening a gift too!

Did you all use a pattern for these? Love them and would like to make for Christmas presents next year. Thanks
Oh almost forgot lol They are all great. |
I love all of the variations of this pattern. I made a couple also as you probably had seen. They made great gifts. I would love to see more if anyone else made them also. I just wish I had the know how to quilt them more, I can only stitch the ditch..... well maybe some day.

Here is the pattern site:
http://www.quilters-world.com/quiltpatterns.php?_id=229 tarib - I stitched in the ditch too but also quilted "garland" by using gold metallic thread & going back& forth across each present in a curvy line using a regular stitch. You can do that!!!! I sewed on some beads to add sparkle & used glitter glue for the stars. |
