I didn't use any stabilizer. The squares are 3 inches finished. I made them small because I was using so many scraps. I cut the triangles a little large and then squared up after I sewed them together.

I like this idea and don't think my kitty will eat it. She even eats the artificial tree and then the consequenctial regurgitation so I haven't put a tree up in a few years.

You are so very smart to do this! I have thought about it, but, of course never done it. LOL... I bet it will look even better with your favorite ornaments and lights on it too. Great job on your start. You even were able to use scraps! Wow...

It's beautiful and what a great idea! I may not put a tree up this year for this first time and I'll be 78 next month. My entire family will be here this year so I kind of feel like I should, but we'll see. Room is also a factory. I love yours!
