My Christmas Tree

Last year Macybaby posted a picture of a Christmas tree wall hanging she made. I was quite taken with it, so decided imitation is the highest form of flattery. Mine is not as fine as hers, but I enjoyed making it and really like the way the jewels sparkle in the light. The center is a panel called "Winter's Grandeur" by Robert Kaufman.

That is beautiful! I made a tree skirt from that line of fabric. It's such a pretty line!

Every year I rearrange my whole living room for the Christmas tree. I think yours is prettier and hanging that quilt would be a lot easier than what I do. Maybe next year I will engage in the highest form of flattery and imitate your wonderful idea!

Really beautiful! I need to do that since I have 2 demons, errr, make that 2 very active cats. I think that is the only tree safe to put up in my house.

Thanks for posting. You really dressed up this panels with the sparkles. This may be the answer to my problem as I didn't put up a tree this year. I have had to make some different furniture arrangements with a husband using a walker and 3 active dogs or maybe I should say 2 1/4 dogs. Marley only weighs 8.4 pounds.
