My colorful quilt of happiness

My sis finished this during her Christmas visit at my house. Now I just have to quilt it! The black borders got a little wavy so although I would like to do swirly yellow on the black borders, I wonder if I should do black thread piano keys? Any suggestions? Thanks for looking!

Very, very pretty.

That is a great quilt. I wonder if it wouldn't be worth the time to take the last border off and re-measure them and reapply, I think you might be happier with the results.

That is a really pretty quilt, and looks like it took an awful lot of work! So saying, if it were mine, I would take off the wavy borders and resew them. An easy solution to achieve perfection, and you will never ever have to think "Oh I wish I'd..."! IMHO

Very pretty. I made a scrap string quilt with wavy borders and I am going to take them off and resew!

That is a stunning quilt and well worth the extra effort. I would also remove the borders, cut them the correct length and reapply. Piano key quilting can take care of some fullness, but from the picture, I think redoing the border is your best bet.

I agree with everyone else. Removing the last border, measuring across the center to get the correct size and putting on new borders will bring it back to a fabulous quilt.

what a pretty quilt............ diamonds intimidate me and I know probably will never do a quilt at that level but I agree with redoing the borders
