Those are all great!!! You do very good work! That mystery quilt is really really pretty!

Celeste 07-12-2008 05:16 PM

That third one is gorgeous! I love the colors and the idea of attaching buttons! Did you find out the name of the pattern?

I'll bet your son loves that quilt of his! I especially like the border!

A cute quilt for your granddaughter. October is a good birth month. :D What day did she choose?

Great work on all! Love the colors.

All are beautiful, I can't decide which one I like best. Buttons? I never thought about them to "quilt" with--great idea. (forgive me, I'm just learning and there is so much to learn) The baby prints are wonderful!

It is a Judy Hopkins Mystery called "Ah, Spring!"

bj 07-12-2008 05:45 PM

They're all very pretty, but my favorite is the green one! I love quilts for kids!!!

isnthatodd 07-12-2008 05:56 PM

I really like all of them. I especially like the idea of using buttons. I tie quilts for a nursing home, and securely tied buttons would provide tactile interest. I also am very fond of the green one. It struck me immediately as something a math teacher would do (I am also a math teacher at a community college part time).

I love them all but have visions of the first one in patriotic fabric. May I ask the name of that block?

Hope I can make it look as special as yours.

gcathie 07-12-2008 06:44 PM

Woooo those are really nice!!! Like them all...Very nice work!! Got more?

stitchinMamaw 07-12-2008 06:49 PM

Love them all, but the baby one is so cute. You do beautiful work.

mathteacher 07-12-2008 07:04 PM

Thanks for the lovely comments.
grammo013, I have seen the pattern called bright hope, but it is called Twist on QuiltersCache.
stitchinMamaw, yes, the blue is a light weight denim

Harmony 07-12-2008 10:57 PM

All are gorgeous, but I love the denim one with the plaids. Inspired!

Beautiful quilts and your workmanship is excellent. Good job! Thanks for sharing. Was it hard making the quilt for your baby grand? those lines and geometric designs play tricks on my old eyes!

sewnsewer2 07-13-2008 04:36 PM

Beautiful job on all of them!

Moonpi 07-13-2008 05:30 PM

You do some very nice work!!!

Diane007 10-10-2012 04:31 PM

my favorite is the first one

travelingquilter 10-14-2012 09:28 PM

i like the plaids really well....so warm and comfy feeling.

carolaug 10-15-2012 12:23 AM

I love the plaid quilt..that is my favorite one. I also have a friend that uses buttons for her large quilts. Only problem is her cat loves to chew on them. She just has to make sure to sew them on good and checks them often. They really do look nice with the buttons.
