This is the head of my treadle. My son did a boo, boo yesterday. My friend gave it to me. The table is in parts. Those little things in the background are my stove knobs. LOL

My I learned to sew on a Damascus treadle. Began to think I had dreamed it up. My mom gave it to me to trade in on my new Super Elna 44 years ago. Now I kind of wish I had it back.

THANKS Y'ALL. Just wanted you to see it. Still got a lot of work to do on it and the cabinet. I'm glad to have it. It's been sitting in my friends garage for many, many years.

I love the look of the old machines, but I've never really sewn anything on them. I'd love to have the skill to strip one down and rebuild it! Good luck and I hope you'll be able to sew on it!

What do you mean by this? Curiosity killed the cat, as the old cliché goes!

M Elizabeth : My 60 yr. old son was trying to teach me to put pics on here and I told everyone it was a Damascus Grand, but it was a Clone of a Singer 15. It was an American instead of the Damascus. That was the boo, boo.ha.
