I am so proud! She called and said she wanted to make a quilt. She picked out the fabrics and has completely sewn this herself (I helped with the cutting, a little). She has done a great job and is on her last border. Yeah!

Yes she is 22 and I can only kinda claim her. She is my step-daughter. She is very crafty and took to this like a duck to water. Said she wanted to make a quilt, picked the fabric and sewed it in 2 days.

It is an oversized lap quilt and she is going to use it to snuggle in when watching T.V.

I am sure she will appreciate all the wonderful comments. So on her behalf, Thank You!

Tell her she has talent for quilting & that all the ladies & gents here wish her many happy quilting days. If she can make a quilt in 2 days, that's going to be all her presents for Christmas 2010.

Large lap quilts are my favorite. I think they get the most use, and they travel well for picnics.
