Beautiful work and a wonderful life long memory. Tell DD that I like the skirt so much that I saved a picture of it so that someday if I am lucky enough to have a granddaughter who wants to sew I will remember a great project for her.

You did a beautiful job on your skirt! You should be very proud of yourself. Sewing is such a fun and satisfying hobby. My mom made her first skirt when she was 5 years old. She sewed her whole life, until about 2 years ago when she lost her vision. She will be 83 on Sept. 1. I can't wait to see the next thing you make. Be sure to have Mom post pics so that we all can enjoy them, okay?
