Stunning ! Beautiful. Perfect pattern for the B&W

That is beautiful! :D

I love your B&W quilt. It's beautiful. I own a lot of those same fabrics. I've made one B&W quilt and I really enjoyed doing it.
Did you notice how some fabrics are white and some are cream? I was disappointed that I hadn't noticed that before I made mine. I now have enough fabric to make a black & cream quilt. It'll happen. I like the 3 bean salad pattern. Thanks for sharing! |
very very pretty I never heard of this quilt but now going on my list

Thanks for all the compliments.
I can't wait to see what all of you do with 3 Bean Salad. Please post pics when you do! |

Yes, I had to weed out a lot of my chosen fabrics because they appeared off white or cream in comparison. I saw one done with both cream and pure whites, and the designer added shades of gray. Then it was quilted with red thread. I personally thought that was too much. It took away from the purity of the black and white. But that's just me. I don't know if its a disorder, or if I am lacking the courage to add lots of different prints and colors together in one quilt. Maybe it is part of my neat freak thing. I have to have order and harmony or it doesn't work for me.   |
Wow! Nice!

Great looking quilt. I could look at B&W quilts dialy. :D I bought that pattern when I first started quilting to do in red and white. It is still waiting patiently.
One block that works up nicely in B&W is http://www.quilterscache.com/S/SplitNinePatchBlock.html from Marcia Hohn's site. The cream area is white with some black and the red area is black with white. For the center block I am using a red fabric from the "Dimples" collection. piney |
Gorgeous, Tell your daughter to use it or you'll take it back. A beauty like that should be seen every day. What size blocks are they?
