Well, I couldn't get a decent picture of this.....mine made it look blue! So my sister took this one last night and you can see the purple and lime greens in it!!! Most of the border was done with squares from the swap.....thank you all for your contributions to her quilt! the purples and lime greens worked great in the border for this one!!

She was all decked out in purple last night and I pulled my daughter aside and asked her if she dressed her that way on purpose (cuz she knew about the quilt) and she told me ...no, she had dressed herself! LOL She's on the left holding the quilt! She loved it!

That is so pretty! I love the colors. There are a couple of blocks that I need to use in my scrap quilt - like the one in the lower left with purple/lt purple, right by a celophane wrapping with a red bow thing. It's a beauty, and the granddaughter looks pretty pleased! Nice job. Sara

Well, my DD FINALLY sent me a picture of the quilt on my granddaughters bed so I could see how well it matched the border paper in her room which was our goal when she asked me to make it for her! I think it matches pretty darn good....now I have to make her matching pillow cases! LOL

Wow!! You did a beautiful job! I sooo love purples and greens together!! Purple is a family favorite color around here (except Jasmine, her's use to be pink, but now she's very into blue). You always do such beautiful work, but I do believe this is my favorite of your pieces soo far!!

Funny how little girls are with their colors....as you can see Ashley is a Barbie fan! That explains the pink pillow cases.. I have extra fabric and plan to make matching pillow cases for her....maybe by her birthday! LOL

This is beautiful! I would have loved to have a special quilt that matched my room when I was little. However, I didn't have anyone in my family interested or coordinated to make me one..... I am making up for it now. :-)
