  :-o Seriously!

This was my first attempt at the DNP, and thought the two christmas prints would work...but didn't

So, I took a different approach... Added some coordinating prints to bring out the colors .... and TA DA!

I like it now, I GUESS  (AFTER TALKING MYSELF OUT OF RIPPING IT APART). But only you guys would know what I meant if I called it the Disappearing Nine Patch that DISAPPEARED! CAMO CHRISTMAS :?:

I showed it to my son (10 years old) his reaction was "Wow".
I showed it to my husband and his reaction was .... well lets just say that I shouldn't have asked

OK, so I need your honest opinions here....should I finish it? Or should I put it on the wall to remind me what NOT to do again?

Thanks!

Finish it. If you don't want to keep it or gift it, you can always donate it.

I actually like it.

Finish it. Once you have quilted it - it will look different.
Put it down to experience. If you really still hate it donate it, or let the son that likes it have it. You could always applique something on the squares with the little stars.
Kyiav10 you must have answered while I was writing. :D

I think that is a good idea that Kyia had about appliqueing some bright red simple stars on the white blocks, but I think its lovely as it is anyway, I think the problem was lack of contrast in the fabrics, such a shame as your work is lovely :D
