I LOVE that!! I love how you personalized it, I love the color of Henry's eyes in your avatar, and I love how you've adopted the dog's that needed you. We've adopted 2 cats that have been dropped off on our country road- they're the best!

Stitchnripper 01-20-2011 05:07 AM

blondeslave 01-20-2011 06:04 AM

Where did you find the pattern?

Katrine 01-20-2011 06:05 AM

Lovely - what a great idea to personalise it too.

SharonAnne 01-20-2011 06:09 AM

Just adorable. And I love the open eyes. Have seen it with cats, but never dogs and never with personalization. You did a wonderful job and have immortalized the important "people" in your life.

Love dogs--have 4 of them but it takes 3 (under 10 lbs ea) to make 1 good-sized dog. Quilt is unique and a treasure.

Champagnolle's my sister, so her dogs are my dogs' cousins.

:) They all get along well and love to have reunions!

She did a great job getting their colors just right!

So sweet! Dump dogs make the best pets. Our Katy (in my avatar) is a Pek, our son got her for us, our birthday present. When we got her, 7 mos old, she didn't really know how to respond to a person, I think she must have been kept in a cage a lot. I wish those type of breeders would be put in a cage and see how they would like it. Katy acts like a normal dog now with all the loving and treats she gets. Love your little dog quilt.

brenda21 01-20-2011 09:23 AM

really nice!

shopaholic97 01-20-2011 09:38 AM

that is so cute! Kudo's to you for taking in dumped dogs, I belong to a rescue organization & have 3 dogs (wished I could have more but by-laws will not allow)

Peggyinno 01-20-2011 10:02 AM

How cute is that!!!! I LOVE it!

k3n 01-20-2011 10:44 AM

This is wonderful! So brilliant how you personalised it. And your Henry's face looks like my Dougal's - he's also a rescue 11 years ago, he was going to be put down for killing chickens. This was a lie - I've kept chickens and he was afraid of them! We even had a duck once who used to attack him and he wouldn't retaliate. Would just look at me like 'Mum, get this thing OFF me!' LOL Sorry to ramble, I love your quilt! :-D

Tweety2911 01-20-2011 12:08 PM

What a perfect quilt. Love it!

KarylMc 01-20-2011 12:19 PM

That is WAY cute!
I just finished a "Hot Diggety Dog" weenie dog quilt for my husband...we have 4 longhaired dachshunds and a Brussels Griffon...
My dogs sleep in 'rolls' just like your quilt!
I will have to do one! ;-)
Thanks for sharing!

Hugs to you are your pets, what a blessed soul you are to rescue these pets.

JuneD 01-20-2011 05:06 PM

What an adorable quilt!!!!! We too have our 'saved' doggies. Muncie, a Rotty mix, died in 2006 of cancer at the age of 8. It tore us up!!! We got her from the animal shelter. Tiffen, our Shih Tzu was saved from a puppy mill. She's 12 years old and a real pistol!!!! Cody we got from the animal shelter as well and he's a Beagle mix and the biggest love-bug you'll ever find. Believe me, if I had the space I'd save all of the dogs I could!!!!

Dani 01-20-2011 06:29 PM
