For those of you who asked. This is machine embroidery redwork in the white diamonds just on the quilt top. In the purple diamonds it is machine quilted in the hoop with a quilting design, but it doesn't show. I also stitched in the ditch.

Really pretty! I like the colors. I never thought of embroidering on a quilt fabric with a pattern. It turned out nice. I have an embroidery machine and this could be something for me to try.

I love it. I also love the color, it is one of my favorites. I too do machine embroidery and love it. I am thinking of doing a baby quilt in some designs with different color blocks. If I do I will post. Thanks for sharing your beautiful quilt qith us.
