My Estate Sale Find

1 Attachment(s)
I found this Singer oil can at an Estate sale this past week. Like new in condition and never been opened.

maryb119 03-25-2014 05:21 AM

That's an oldie!

Tartan 03-25-2014 05:23 AM

30 cents, how times have changed.:)

dakotamaid 03-25-2014 06:27 AM

Be careful using old oil. Even if it has not been opened it could have changed consistency. Better to keep it as an antique. :)

I think I paid $1. I got other items and really did not notice the price.

Isn't is wonderful how the littlest item can make us quilters happy?????

quilter2theend 03-27-2014 09:04 AM

I have an original oil container from a Viking (1960's) but it is in a hard plastic container, so better not to use it?

JanieH 03-27-2014 09:44 AM

Congratulations on your find!

caspharm 03-27-2014 10:02 AM

Beautiful condition.

MargeD 03-27-2014 10:52 AM

WOW, my how prices have changed. I have an old paper set of needles with 10 cents on the cover, there may not be many needles left, but I love the cover.

It's best not to use oil or lube that old. Just for looks!

weasier22 03-27-2014 06:18 PM
