My favorite pin cushion - "Mousie"
 

I have been looking at the Quilt Gallery and decided to post my favorite pin cushion - I call her "Mousie" and she sits on one of sewing machines all the time.

I have one like this given to me by a quilting friend when I moved away. They are so cute.

Oh, she is so special! The "look" one her face is just so mouse-like!

Hi Peggy, yes I did make Mousie. I bought the pattern at the LQS and now I can't find it. I will run on to it again one of these days when I get in a cleaning mood. It is pulverized with crushed pecan shells.

I have a Mousie like yours on my machine also! Her tail is where my bobbins are stacked. My mom made her for me years ago and I love it.

Oh Mousie is adorable! I have one that must be her sister, only she is purple and sits by my sewing machine all the time. Sure hope I didn't hurt her tonight when I kept poking her with pins.....

EEEEEEEEEK! She wouldn't fit on the mousetrap.

Mary O, Mousie was originally made for my daughter Paige (who really!!! doesn't like mice) and she wouldn't take her home, so I adopted her. I also keep bobbins or thread on her tail when I take my sewing somewhere with me.

Earthwalker, This was the 1st one I made and I had purchased a kit. It included the whiskers and it looked like fishing line, so that is what I used on the others I made. I got a heavy fishing line, not the real fine one.

I love it! if you ever find the pattern please post who makes it!

I made and sold several of these awhile back. So much fun to watch them come alive. Funny thing is I do not even own one. sold em all. lol makes me want to break out the pattern and make myself one.
