A wonderful quilt

Peggyinno, are you familiar with the Japanese concept of "shibui" ? This absolutely describes your quilt!!! "Shibui objects appear to be simple overall but they include subtle details, such as textures, that balance simplicity with complexity. This balance of simplicity and complexity ensures that one does not tire of a shibui object but constantly finds new meanings and enriched beauty that cause its aesthetic value to grow over the years."
I just LOVE it! Thank you for sharing!

I really love the colors on the white background. Did you applique the colored leaves? I am working on a pattern with leaves and I am using wonder under and applique techniqe. Really nice.

I was not aware of the concept of "shibui" until you so graciously explained it. Wow, it blows me away. I will be googling it to get more info. Thanks!
