It is not very good but I learned a lot from making it.

Wow, it looks great!

It is beautiful and I love your borders, they make the quilt really dynamic. Your colour choices are lovely too.

Thanks, I was afraid to try it because it looked so hard. While it was hard I am glad I tried it.

I thought the colors were pretty too. I like the way the border turned out. I saw another quilter on Pinterest use that design on a border and I decided to try it as well. I love it.

This is not very good, you say? I don't see anything but beautiful....love the color choices and border design, as well. Very subtle and comforting quilt. Congratulations on your success of this pattern.

Looks great from here. It is a good thing that you learned a lot by making it. Keep carrying into other quilts that you make, and soon you will be a master quiltmaker!

I've never made a lone star, but I love that border! I'm impressed by how it really frames and brings the eye to it!

Bravo! You did great on a challenge. I think you're too hard on yourself.

Your Lone Star is beautiful. I love those soft shades and the colour placement of the diamond pieces make a really original star pattern - it has movement to me, seems to lean to the side. Does that make sense?
