I have decided that the sign of a good quilt is that you seriously think about keeping it yourself instead of giving it to the intended recipient! This very simple, easy quilt is so ... I don't know exactly how to describe it .. comforting, maybe? I WILL give it to the neighbors who just had their 2nd baby, but I may have to make one for myself! The backing is flannel, I think that helps make it feel really "cushy", and it's not heavily quilted.

every single one of my baby quilts get flannel backing. I find they are more comfortable on baby's delicate skin. Love how you put it together. :)
