So the question is....how much experiance do you have as a quilter and how difficult was this to do?
I'm sitting on the fence...your's turned out great!!

I have been seriously quilting for about 8 years. However, I hate to have to deal with points! The beauty of this pattern is if you are off a couple of threads it is not noticed. Trust me there are several close but not quite perfect seam matching. It is not hard and the directions are clear. You might try it with a couple of other quilters and help each other. The hardest part was getting 20 different fabrics in a pleasing color wave. Just jump in........after all it's just fabric:)

It is lovely. You have done a great job! I hope you will look for my follow up book with even more sizes and twisted bargello designs being released next July. There is even a bargello for baby in the next book that is quick to make and only uses 10 fabrics. Well done!

You mean I'm going to have to wait a whole year! lol Thank you for sharing your talents with the rest of us. I tried the wall hanging first.....not so overwhelming. Your directions were clear and easy to follow. I'll be watching for your next book release. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

Ladies these quilts are strip pieced! They are easy! In the gallery of the next book is a sample of a quilt similar to Surf Song but 61" x 80 - made by LAUREL and it was her first quilt. Honest! Her very first quilt and I don't think she had any lessons any where other than she did know how to sew. She just followed the instructions in the book. With the support of myself and the quilters here, how could you go wrong?
