I love it! Great job and it is also on MY bucket list! I agree with maybe light blue skinny border and wider one with the dark blue!

It's a beautiful Carpenter's star. If it were my quilt, I think I might have a narrow border of the lighter blue and then a larger outer border in the dark blue.

Twinkies is what I was going to say about the cream border first to make the star float. Then what ever you choose from there. Lovely star you did a great job.

OOps. I'll try again.

For anyone who has not tried a Carpenters Star, I strongly recommend it. Because it is HSTs, it gives a dramatic effect without huge pain.
