I love your quilt. What is the name of the block you used? I love its simplicity. Great job.
http://www.freequiltpatterns.info/fr...-kim-diehl.htm I did not make mine square I made it with 5 across instead of 6 like the pattern calls for, I used the left over fabric strip sets in the binding. |

After all she's been through, I'm sure she will love the surprise and cherish it and your thoughtfulness.

My sweet first cousin who lives in Iowa just finished with 33 treatments for breast cancer. I wanted to make her a lap quilt that wasn't totally about cancer, but I did want to add some pink fabrics. I had a ton of problems making the label, something happened to the embroidery stitching, I know because I broke 10 needles just to stitch the label but I wanted to get it done so I could get the label done and attached and get the lap quilt in the mail. So please don't look to close.!! She was thrilled about getting the surprise quilt.
I loved the quilting stitches with all the hearts. Thanks for looking. I've always loved the pink and green combination - and your quilting is gorgeous! |
Nice comforting quilt.
