I like advice everyone else is giving....Great job! Love your colors!

I like normally to have more than one border to reflect the main colors. Your choice i think for the first black was great and i would do a wider brown to match most of the quilt. It looks really nice, and your choice of colors is beautiful.

That's a GORGEOUS D9P. I made one, aren't they fun????
I really like borders too. I like a double or triple. You did a wonderful job on it!!! :D:D |
Thank you SO much everyone ... for all the comments and border suggestions! I'll keep reading the ideas, and checking out my stash!

I like Amandagramma's suggestion of a narrow cream (probably a 1/2"-1" finished) and then a wider (perhaps a 5 1/2" finished) red/orange (the same color as in the blocks). Guess it really depends on how large you want the quilt. Do like your color/fabric selection for this quilt. D9P and/or D4P are on my "list of to-do's". Surely hope you'll post the finished quilt.

I would add another larger border. I think one of the oranges or a tan would look great. Nice looking quilt.

Awesome quilt! Love your colors.
It looks great the way it is now! |
You've chosen my colours ... so easy for me to admire it!
It's a fun and easy pattern to do. Just keep a good sharp blade in your rotary cutter and keep slashing away! :) I did one last year ... and can see doing it other times! |
