Deema,
Don't change a thing that purple looks great with those blue shades.

It is very pretty, maybe try a solid or tone on tone, there is alot going on in all those prints, that might tone it down, if that is what you are looking for. But it is very pretty.

Your picture absolutely took my breath away at first glance. The purple seems to bring out the other colors in the tree fabric. Reminds me of a cold autumn day - late in the afternoon as the sun is beginning to set and you see such wonderful colors in the sky against the stark contrast of naked tree branches. It can be quite beautiful if you take the time to enjoy the view. My vote is to keep it as it is. But then I'm also a purple fanatic. Can't wait to see the pictures when it's done.

I just came across the D9P last month. Love it as a quick go to pattern.

I like the purple with the blue.

I love the way the purple brings out the purple in the tree fabric, but I think I would see if I could find a similar purple but with less of a distinctive pattern. The tree fabric is fabulous!!!

The purple stands out -- very nice. When you add more blocks, the black corners should look great, too.

I think as lighter shade of purple.
