Dreams do come true! Do you have an embroidery machine? :D

Just got back into sewing after I got laid off - idle hands, you know - needed a hobby!!! It has been 30 years since I touched a machine, so I'm easing back into things, but am addicted after just a few months. I have a Brother XR9000 and that's it for a while. Small house and not much room for anything else (I've already taken over the dining area, much to DH's chagrin), although I would love an embroidery machine. Likely not in the immediate future, but perhaps the distant one. It's a goal, anyway.

What a spectacular quilt! I love machine applique and embroidery in general, so I absolutely love this quilt. You did a fantastic job on it. I hope you enter it into a show some time, it's that good! :)

Hi, I actually did enter it in a local show here (first and only time that I have done that). It won 4 ribbons - Unique Award, First Place, Best of Class and Best of Show. I was so tickled. Thank you.

Thanks, the blocks are 12" finished and the center is 45". The overall quilt size is 108 x 108. It fits a king size bed perfectly.
