Beautiful.

Last year I did the same pillow for my quilter friend and then made one only made it into a doll quilt wallhanging for my Mother.

I like your choice of colors and the beautiful work you did on the back.

I have not met her but the lady that designed that pattern lives in the city next to where I am located. Small world, Huh? :-D

PS: I scrunk the pattern for a small one and have 3 others in a hoop ready for car travel. Traveling and in front of the TV in the evenings is where I do my hand embroidery.

Very pretty. I do a lot of hand embroidery and often colour it. I use Prisma pencils and seal it with a dry iron. It seems to wash OK. Colouring it in is fun and seems to really lift the pattern.

I used the Prisma pencils and was not happy at all with them and yes I'd like to know what you use because I love the looks of this.

There's a knack to using them and you just gently shade until you have the colour you want. I've tried crayons and water colours and I prefer the pencils.

You even did quilt blocks to go with your beautiful embroidery. What kind of fabric is the white background? It is so exquisite & dainty. Now, you can start on larger & larger quilts.

Thank you for your kinds words. I am still in the process of learning embroidery. I've bought a Piecemaker crazy quilt pattern and there is tons, tons of embroidery on it. Hope I can achieve this.
