Great job!!! I keep wanting to do some but I guess I just need to jump in there and start. Thanks for sharing...you'll have to show us your finished product!!!

Very nice -- practice does make perfect! I've been working on a few hexies too -- just saw a setting yesterday that I really liked so may have to get back to it. Your pieces certainly fit together well! You should be proud.

Yeah, go for it! I don't hand-sew my bindings (or anything else) so I put together a little "kit" that I'm keeping in DH's TV room to keep my hands busy. My kit is self-contained so it will go on vacation with me too.

It's a pity I get carsick so easily if I look down, otherwise I'd be planning to work on them while on the road for our upcoming road-trip vacation. But my inner ear will not allow such shenanigans, so I'll only be working on them while in our hotel rooms.

Love them!!! I have a question...can you cut and sew hexigons without a template behind each one?

#1piecemaker posted a tutorial on piecing hexies by hand with no foundation used. Don't remember how far back that was. Seems it was only a couple of weeks ago.
