My First Few Quilts
10 Attachment(s)
I finally decided to try posting photos and here are a few of my first attempts at quilting. I went on a spree with baby quilts when four of my close friends ended up pregnant around the same time. Let me just say, I will NEVER promise four hormonal mothers baby quilts again. :)
The Irish Chain patterns were taken from a Carol Doak book and the modified Log Cabin was a free pattern I downloaded off the internet. I straight-line quilted them and used Borders Made Easy on one of them as well, with the exception of the Sock Monkey quilt, which I had done by a talented local longarmer. The final quilt, a four block sampler, was a class I took at Joanns. Thanks for looking and I'll post a few more soon I hope! Great work! I especially love the blue 9 patch. The sock monkey quilting is so cool, and I like the girlie quilt and quilting. Are those gecko's in the batik quilt. Cute!
