I'll bet he loves it. Do you mind if I ask how long did it take you to actually quilt it?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm about to embark on this journey and this is the type of quilting I want to begin to do on my charity quilts. It seems like it could be fast and easy. Is it?

It probably took me 4 hours total. I would work some on it and then get up because I found myself tensing up. I really tried to relax and just have fun. It was easier than I thought it would be. I tried to keep in mind puzzle pieces when doing the meandering and not make any sharp turns - just smooth loops. I'm glad I did it and look forwarding to doing another one.

I love it too! One because of the frogs; my 33 year old son is my little frog legged boy. And two because yours is so good. Great job on the stippling. I'm getting ready to free motion my first one on my home machine (I've done one on a long arm); hope mine turns out as well as yours!

Your FMQ looks really good compared to my first tries. Mine were so jerky & yours just seem to flow. Also all my stitches were different sizes all over the quilt. Yours seem pretty even to me. You did a good job. That was a good size quilt to start on.
