Debbie and PurpleBecca, the pattern is from the book "French Braid Quilts" by Jane Hardy Miller. The braid is a log-cabin variation, and really easy. Go for it!

Wow Gai....I love it! You did do a fabulous job picking the fabs, but I loved them when you showed them together....so of course, I would love the quilt!

I love the colors in your quilt and you did a beautiful quilt. I agree this quilt is very easy and would think even a beginner could jump right in. The really hard part is choosing the fabrics. I like using this pattern for table runners.

It's absolutely lovely!

I'm working on my first one, but am using Bali Pops ... they are all cut crooked and I have to measure each piece before I sew it on, so it's mighty slow going. Even so, I'm enjoying making it, but might take another couple of weeks yet to finish and I've been working on it for quite some time already.
