After cutting over 1,000 small squares for one vintage Irish Chain pattern, I found this easy one. I plan to use it over and over. I LOVE strip piecing! This quilt pattern is free from www.ezquilt.com/patterns/irishchain http://I am pleased with the results...uilting.<br />[img]

:) Thanks everyone. There is a story behind this quilt. I used muslin actually that was given to me by a friend who was clearing her stash. It is quite old. The green in the blocks is new fabric from Blank Quilting that I bought at the closing of a local quilt shop. I learned about the closing from this board! The old green on the borders is from an EBay purchase as is the pinecone print on the backing. I learned about that sale on this board too!. I used the pinecone print because this quilt is going to my dear aunt in Maine and that is their state flower. She is also of Irish descent so,thus, the Irish chain. So my life is kinda wrapped up in this quilt. Thanks to all the board members for their knowledge and support.
