It's very beautiful. I did a braid quilt. I forgot that I had biases so it got all stretchy. How did you keep it all stable?

The braids don't line up? I think you need to get on a horse. Looks fabulous to me!

I forgot too - and I had to trim it a bit more than I wanted to. I actually trimmed it on the livingroom floor (moving a cutting mat instead of the fabric). It was an ugly process but worth it.

BTW - I hate bias!!! :)

Ha! I also have that washstand, but mine is honey oak colored. It came with an antique bowl and pitcher and I payed much more for mine than the great deal you got yours for, lol.

Your quilt is really lovely and I like all the colors you chose. I'm sure your friend and her new spouse will always treasure it. Thanks for sharing.

Does that ever look gorgeous on your bed. And that trunk is wonderful with a quilt on the bed. What a great room.
