My first quillow
 

Here it is...my first try at a quillow!!! I didn't quite follow the instructions I had, had to change a few things, it was a bit of a brain teaser.... :) but still I'm happy with how it turned out.
The little star blocks were given to me probably 1 year ago, there were 6 - 8 made up in a bag with lots of already cut material to make some more, so I started to make some a while back.
This will be a quillow for my oncologist whose wife had a baby not so long ago. Hope they like it....

I can just see the little owner in a few years time, trundling off to a friend's house for a sleep over with the quillow. Delightful!

I made quillows in the 80s but never thought of making the top from quilt blocks. I am sure she will be delighted with this lovely gift.
