So I had it in my mind to make a quilt for Christmas. Ha! It should be finished for the holidays of '08. So far I only have the patchwork done. I still need to attach a backing fabric and bind it and actually quilt it. Sheesh. Makes my fingers hurt just thinking about it.
I know this is quilting forum but this was my project today. It's more along what I normally occupy my sewing time with. I made it from scratch ( my own pattern too) and drew and painted the bird on the bottom. But I think now that I finally made a bag for myself it's time to focus on making a QUILT for myself! My spring bag [ATTACH=CONFIG]5865[/ATTACH] It;s just a simple nine patch. I'm not brave enough to try any of the crazier patterns. I have enough trouble matching these corners up. Thanks! I keep squealing and interrupting the BF's video game. Oops. I was looking through all the posts of the BOM. I want to make some of the past ones and I'm really excited to see what the first one for March will be. I'm a little intimidated by all of your amazing things just in the BOM thread alone. But practice makes perfect and I'm gonna go through a bunch of my stash 'perfecting'. Can't wait. Thanks for the positive feedback!
