I finally got my sister to take pictures of the quilt I made for her 6 years ago. It was my first quilt

I had it quilted by a local quilter and she actually has the outline of turle quilted into the non-turtle squares. This was a picture from a one-time camera and my nephew took the pictures. The quilt is much brighter than it shows. !!! The green is actually a bright almost neon green and it matches the green in the turlte - The dark blue is a royal blue.

Will try to post another I made for my nephew - my quilts so far have been very easy ones as you will notice lol I have a couple of others I will try to post also...I do quilt some lol I have three more being held captive at my daughters house waiting to be quilted - they have a little more detail to them. She has a longarm but no time and I cant stand that long to use the machine or I would do them myself lol

My sister just started displaying the quilt - she had it in her "turtle" guest room until they had a big storm hit and it tore part of the roof off and saturated the room with water and ceillng lol I had made matching pillow sham and a dresser mat (started with placemat and pieced a turtle out of little squares) not sure if it survived or not lol I asked her to take pics but I guess it didnt survive or she just forgot - It has taken me a year to finally get these pictures - I would hate to ask for anymore lol I dont get there too often so next time I go I will have to take my camera lol
