My close friend would love this. Her parents were missionaries in Congo, and she lived there for a while until the uprising and had to flee. She loves Africa.

Wonderful! And the batiks look so different than what is available in quilt shops here; I think those are Indonesian-inspired, not African-inspired. We need both!
