My First "Quilt"
 

I made a mug rug for my moms birthday. I think the pattern would make a beautiful quilt but I didn't enjoy doing it on such a small scale. The fabric isn't something I'd choose but my mom liked it. Not bad for my first quilt.

Thanks everyone :) I was very excited to post a picture for you all. My mom loved it and I hope to have another project to show soon.

Here's a site that has the same pattern on a larger quilt. Yours is wonderful and you must have a lot of patience to make one that small.

Wow I am so impressed, it turned out great! I don't even put that much work into a mug rug, I'm sure your mom appreciates it and uses it. It is so pretty I would hang it in my sewing room for inspiration.
