...which was meant to be a Christmas present to my boyfriend a year ago. Heh. Finally gave it to him this past October. It's an Ohio Star, and tied. The top is hand-pieced and the rest done by my trusty Singer.

I agree - congratulations. Feels good, doesn't it to have completed your very first quilt? When I made my first quilt I looked at it for days, admiring it. LOL. My sister has that quilt and displays it proudly though I know it is far from perfect, but she loves it. Keep up the good work. You will get a lots of ideas and hints on this board. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I do.
