My first Quilt of Valor
 

This is my first completed QOV. Blocks made by a fellow guild member. I love how "happy" this quilt came out.

Lucky is the Vet who receives this quilt.

Thank you. The lovely lady who made the blocks is standing at the right. I am the one holding up the corner of the quilt. I really do like the way this came out. It was a hard decision as to what to do with the string blocks. I do like the way it came out. It is now off to the long arm lady.

I love it! It certainly is a busy, happy quilt! The lady who made it had a great collection of reds, whites and blues.

To me, one of the neatest thing about this quilt -aside from it going to a veteran - is that Ginny included "Captain America" (his shields) fabric in some of the blocks. Hey, it's red, white and blue! :thumbup:
