I hope I do this correctly!

I love love love HST quilts. This is one I finished in June for my two year old. I'm proud to say she loves it. Note the bit of backing that you can see... I Always improvise piece my backs because I'm a glutton for punishment.

I love your chevron quilt, the backing is great fun too. I almost always piece my backs, I get to use up leftovers and prolong the piecing fun (my favorite part of the process)

Thanks all. I was super proud of this guy. I used the Fons and porter HST ruler so most of my tips are pointy and when stippling it I only suffered one pucker on the back. Progress!

It is a lovely quilt! I love the colors. And I agree, I usually piece the backs of my quilts too!
