My first star
 

Well just tried my first star quilt and really like doing it .
Wanted to try this one so I would learn as I went along.
These 2 are going in my pile to give to the local hospital.
Question if i,m giving these to the hospital is it ok if I have my name on them ?
Or should i take them off.
now i,m searching the web for some star patterns LOL
And of course a trip to the fabric store.

I do not put my name on my charity quilts. We have a label that simply says, Made just for you with the name of our charity. But perhaps you could ask the group who is making the donation what their policy is.

I don't put my name on quilts that I donate to charity. I would ask as paintmejudy suggested. Love the bright square quilt. I haven't seen that pattern before. What a way of using up scraps!

Great quilts. Really love the bright quilt. As far ad your name on them some organizations want a name and others don't. You might ask them.

star is beautiful. put your name on it, say made by......after all you donated it.

I love the work you have done. I put my name on quilts that I donate to foster kids within our lightly populated county. I Check with the charity. Also, quilterscache.com is a great source of patterns.

They are both great quilts especially for hospital donations where people need a good cheering up.

Love both your quilts. Our guild has recommended that we put their name and then ours. As we usually have projects each year for different things.
