My first table runner
 

I decided to try to make a table runner... Just threw this together with fabrics from my stash, not real thrilled with the orange... I don't think it quite matches and it ended up a little wider than I wanted, but not bad for my first try...

very nice! how did you plan the colours? I want to make one and bought the small twister tool, but am too intimidated to go it alone without instructions and too cheap to buy a book. lol
did you find a pattern online?

Actually, your 'larger' orange "background" allows your center to float, which is a good design option and is easier on the eye. Very nice!
