Hi all

As you may know I am here in the US temporarily - going back to Ireland on Saturday! While I have been here I have taught my long time friend and host how to quilt!!

She made this Autumnal tablecover!! I am so proud of her!!

I did quilt it for her as we are on a tight deadline - but she has done all the cutting, piecing, pressing and binding herself!!

I think she may be just a teeny bit BITTEN - she is talking about a Christmas one!!!

I do hope she will do more - she works long hard hours and I knwo quilting would be a fun release for her!!

I have told her that before I leave I will introduce her to this site - as I KNOW you will all look after her if she gets stuck on a project!! Sometimes I cant explain things over the phone - but you guys can show her!!!

What a wonderful way to spend time with your friend! The quilt is beautiful and surely will remind your friend of the special time you shared together. Enjoy the rest of your visit and have a safe trip back to Ireland.

What a great quilt!! What a fun thing to do with a friend.
I wish my best friend had any interest in quilting (or anything crafty). I'm trying to brainwash her. Maybe by the time we are retired...
