What a wonderful idea. Your quilt turned out remarkedly beautiful. Am afraid if I tried it may be one of the ugliest as my quilts don't jive from one to the next. Thanks SO much for the inspiriation:)

Love the houses and it's beautiful. Great job.
I haven't read all the comments so I hope I am not duplicating the threads but this is such a nice coordinated sampler, new, refreshing, different...you should try to enter it in one of the quilting magazines or do a pattern to sell.
Love your colors! What a cheerful quilt... must have been a lot of fun to work on!
STUNNING! WOW!

I love it. I have always wanted to do a sampler. You were brave to make it your own & I would buy your pattern. :-)
I love your orphan block quilt. A neat way to use up your left over block from other project. Job well done.

WOW! Love it!

You really made a great quilt out of orphan blocks & gave me a nice example to follow. Over the years I have accumilated multiple orphan blocks, but didn't know what to do with them. Thanks for the idea. Jan

Super nice job

Absolutely stunning!!! Love it!
Love your 'frivolous-ness'. Creating different block sizes adds alot of interest. Have a quilt started that I have been debating about using different size blocks and filler pieces (I know that means much more planning), but sure am liking what I'm seeing here. Thanks for the inspiration!

Beautiful work. DEB
stunning i love it
Now I'm inspired to do something with my orphan blocks other than give them away at yard sale
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! That's just exactly what I love to do - take odd-size blocks from here and there and other projects, size them to make them fit and put them together. I call them my "Puzzle Quilts" and they are such fun because it's not someone else's pattern, I can use my own imagination and solve the problem of fitting. Your quilt is gorgeous, and shows YOUR creativity and ability to solve a problem, even a little one. I'm waxing philosophical here, but I think solving a problem really feelss good!!
Wow, it's beautiful.
You have giving me an idea. Thanks for sharing. |
