Oooooh, I have friends who are moving to Houston and I bet they'd use a little sun hat for the baby they've got on the way. My poor friend, she's keeping a hospital bag in the car on the drive down there just in case she goes into labor on the road. That's how ready to pop she is. I can't imagine having to deal with moving, 9 months pregnant, in July, from a hot place to a hotter place.
ANYWAY. I still have scraps from the quilt I made for the kid. Thanks for the pattern!
Let's invent a new gifting trend-the quilt with matching hat! Actually, I made a tote when I made the quilt, so potentially the child now has a matching hat and bag. Not something he will be wanting in a few years time, I guess, but Ok I think for your toddler to match your carry-all ? LOL

You are very kind. I was wondering about trying to scale up the pattern, perhaps with some different scraps for myself. I feel totally vindicated for my hoarding habits now. Yay. Here in Australia you can always find room in your life for another sunhat!
