Look where I found my cat this morning! She has NEVER EVER laid on something I was working on before!

Guess she needed a friend as this quilt has cats on it

blzzrdqueen 05-18-2009 07:37 AM

How cute! 2 of my 4 cats ALWAYS lay on stuff I'm working on, and all over my ironing board. I'm always lint rolling off the cat furr!!

Do you have any more pics of the sweet kitty? I'd love to see them!

Since it had kitties on the fabric, she thought it MUST be for her! LOL

What a cutie!! Looks like she's claiming the quilt!!

Knot Sew 05-18-2009 08:19 AM

She can smell you on it and thats why she likes it

reneebobby 05-18-2009 08:32 AM

To cute mine is always on my stuff in my stuff.

Debbie1 05-18-2009 09:54 AM

Too cute! She must have known the quilt had kitties on it!

MadQuilter 05-18-2009 11:16 AM

It means that Sugarbear gives his/her approval. When my cats get on the new quilt, I always know that it's a good one. If they stay away, I revisit my plan.

Cat-tested, kitty-approved :!:

She's beautiful Dawn. Either she needed a new friend or just wanted to help (have 3 of my own who like to help me alot)

Sugarbear is just way too adorable!!

beachlady 05-18-2009 01:48 PM

Beautiful cat. Did she get ownership of the kitty quilt?

tlrnhi 05-18-2009 02:36 PM

Too cute!
It's kitty approved!! :)

Shemjo 05-18-2009 02:42 PM

Sugerbear is adorable! She DOES like quilts! What a smartie to claim the kitty pieces right away. Saw the post where this is finished1 Lookin' good!

Moonpi 05-18-2009 03:29 PM

Thanks, I did make her a cat quilt but she wouldn't have anything to do with it so I gave it to a friend. Go figure

Cute kitty. My cat is choosy about the quilts he lays on. I'm always happy when he lays on one. It has the kitty stamp of approval.

SaraSewing 05-18-2009 06:55 PM

Kitty has beautiful markings! And good taste to choose a quilt. My old kitty has her own quilt, made for my daughter in about 1990. I steal it away just long enough to wash it now and then, and return it to she-who-appreciates-it.

sewnsewer2 05-18-2009 08:25 PM

Thanks, she is 18 yrs old but acts like she's 2. Hubby said she is glued to my side.

PrettyKitty 05-19-2009 02:11 AM

Awww....she's lovely. And is either saying 'I like this quilt' or maybe it is 'Pay me some attention please!'

Bevanger 05-19-2009 05:43 AM

awwwwwww what a beautiful kitty. I think she likes the quilt mom. :D

Mplsgirl 05-19-2009 07:34 AM

She is just beautiful!

Shemjo 05-19-2009 10:24 AM

Have you tried rubbing catnip on HER quilt? :?

Mplsgirl 05-19-2009 10:30 AM

If that doesn't work, I had a cat that could not care less about catnip, but went nuts over celery tops.

pennyswings 05-19-2009 10:40 AM

That is so cute. So I guess it is her's now right?? She seems to love it anyway.

No, I didn't think of that. Cat nip makes her crazy and she runs around here like a banchee anyway.

Some of her sounds she makes when meowing sounds like someone is killing her.

Celeste 05-19-2009 06:57 PM

I just love it when they tuck in everything like that! thanks for more pictures, too!

Wunder-Mar 05-23-2009 06:31 AM

Cats own everything in the houses they live in! Entitlement issues are built into their DNA. Dogs have owners - cats have staff. (I am the proud owner of a Native American Indian Dog and am live-in help for my cat-partner Sassafras.)

Wunder-Mar 05-23-2009 06:33 AM

Agreed, Mad Quilter - cats only lie on things that have good juju. Guaranteed, no exceptions.

dvseals 05-23-2009 07:26 AM

That's a pretty guardian you have there :)

Don't know bout other dogs but mine have staff. I'm their favorite doorperson, chef, pillow, bed, etc You'd think I was the only one living here with them. LOL

Boston1954 05-23-2009 08:48 AM

Maybe she saw my Smoky's Quilt and said I want one too.

kd124 05-24-2009 09:49 PM

She just wants to choose what quilt she wants.
